Groomers are real.

If you don't want to be associated with them, come out against them. Start "Responsible Homosexuals Against Groomers" or something like that.

This is a standard you do not apply to any other group with pedophiles among it.
Hey

Ah yes. Josh Duggar, former head lobbyist of Family Research Council and straight married man, now convicted pedophile and if you believe the rumors under investigation for producing child porn of his own children.
His parents and their religious community protected him when it first came to their attention he was molesting his sisters

I brought him up because he got away with it and it was hushed up that he fingered his 5 year old sister among other things
Who here hushed it? Seems like everybody here universally denounced him.
Uh…go back and read the threads. Lots of FBI conspiracy talk and making examples of religious people and conservatives…

Sucks doesn't it. You are reflecting the sentiment of the left towards the right.
The left posted all those things in this thread and numerous deleted posts which were even worse? Oh, ok. Who is projecting now?

So true. The homos had it so good and were treated fairly and equitably in the US for generations. People only turned on them when Pride Month came into being.
People who have made the choice to live as gay, a perverted lifestyle, and trying to force others to join in celebrating that garbage is the reason for the push back.

I'm gay, and Pride month is dumber than dirt. There are a lot of us who have no interest in trying to convince anyone that the "agenda" should be accepted by everyone. In fact, as one who is not at all embedded in the gay community, I reject just about everything the "community" stands for. I'm more conservative than most of you, won't be told how to believe, think, and vote, and won't involve myself in any self-destructive behavior. I fly under the radar, do my job, take care of my business, work (as a lawyer and ultra-conservative professor), and pay more than my share of taxes. I've always worn men's clothing, question and even criticize all of the weird fringes of our world, and outwardly challenge the community's mindset. Hell, I don't even drink vodka! I'm a whiskey man. The way some of you "clump" gay men together as if they are a homogenous group really pisses me off. And it saddens me that some of you allegedly intelligent and enlightened people have chosen to be so ignorant.

I used to be like you, thinking I was better than it different than the other gays. In some ways you may be (by whatever metric), but this mindset is generally due to self loathing.
Going to choose my words, but I would bet if we peeled a layer or two would find all sorts of things they benefitted from their "community" that they reject.

Perhaps he would not have been convicted of watching infant rape porn if they had done something then

Assuming one is born gay, as science (and super vocal gays) tells us, what is there to be proud of? Same with being Asian, Hispanic, Italian, Black, etc.

Yay, you didn't die yet!

Even sillier, for all instances (and more than I pointed out above) is the idiotic penchant for businesses to suck up to those subgroups for the allotted time frames. Boggles my mind.

No…they're welcome to think and do whatever they want, but shunning an entire community who you benefitted from be it increasing acceptance over the last few decades so you could come out (at older age), pushing for additional rights/protections you may enjoy (gay marriage), etc is pretty myopic.

I don't agree with everything the community does either, but I would never say I reject it almost entirely.

Second try

This is misleading info about HIV infections.
Gay men are still overwhelmingly the carriers of HIV.

The claims seem to be based on a UKHSA report which shows that in 2020 in England,
There were 940 HIV diagnoses in gay and bisexual men and 1,010 in heterosexual people.

The proportion of men in the UK who identified as of gay or bisexual is 2.9% (approximately 754,000 men), compared to 93.7 percent of people who identified as heterosexual or straight.

You are showing your ignorance. Thanks to modern medicine there are as you included in your post millions of people living with HIV who have an undetectable level of virus. It's not the 80s and 90s anymore, it's not terminal and undetectable=untransmittable. Sorry to disappoint, I know that doesn't fit the narrative.

No, he's pointing out your fallacy on ignoring the base rate. When you say rate you're talking about the number of those contracting HIV in comparison to their subpopulation total. A slightly higher number of diagnoses in straight people is not a higher rate of contraction when you consider that those identifying as straight outnumber those identifying as gay or bisexual by 30:1.

Quote:

Due to the increasing availability of Prep in UK's gay population I believe their data recently showed heterosexual people are contracting HIV at higher rates.

There's 67 million people in the UK. With those case numbers and identification rates, straights contract HIV at a rate of 1 per 62,000 individuals. Gays and bisexuals contract HIV at a rate of 1 per 2000 individuals.

So no, heterosexual people are not even close to contracting HIV at the same rates.

News flash though, you're not, and it just shows insecurity.

Let people enjoy things. You don't have to participate, but to judge people is uncalled for.

These people are embarrassing to females. At least put the makeup on correctly. They look like clowns, and by extension, clowning the female gender. I expect no less from an ideology that wants to have males compete against females.

June has become my favorite month. Heads exploding and panties bunching up on F16 for 30 days is glorious to behold. Let the rants and waling begin!!!!

Please let me know what you like to do with your genitals and with whom.

If that is the foremost indicator of who you are as a person, you're not worth knowing.

Why are you asking about my genital activity? Interested?

Hate to disappoint but I'm married. Sorry.

I already know your kinks because you've made it your badge. I just feel sorry for all the gay people who would like to be taken seriously in society.

Really? What are they?

Assuming one is born gay, as science (and super vocal gays) tells us, what is there to be proud of? Same with being Asian, Hispanic, Italian, Black, etc.

Yay, you didn't die yet!

Even sillier, for all instances (and more than I pointed out above) is the idiotic penchant for businesses to suck up to those subgroups for the allotted time frames. Boggles my mind.
You ignore completely the political causes that pride started from and continues today.

I haven't ignored ***** I actually voted for gay marriage while I lived in Iowa.

Pride months, for race/gender/sexuality/anything are ****ing stupid. Period. End quote. You did nothing to be gay/Hispanic/female/etc.

But "Yay! Let's pretend we did!". For a month.

The irony is all these responses validate exactly why there is a pride month.

Prove the point post after post.

The irony is there wouldn't be all these responses if there wasn't a pride month.

This is such a d bag thing to say. Wow.

Yeah, and those political causes expect … in very fascist fashion … everyone to vote for Democrats. That's nothing to be proud of. Look what that party has done to the country!
You can vote however you'd like, I choose to vote for a party that supports my place in society and not with a group that codifies their point of view on me in their platform and who's voters share opinions about me I see every week on this forum that i completely disagree with.

So you favor all the quotas being imposed by the government that prejudge people on the basis of factors over which they have no control? Race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender? You're okay with hiring people with lower credentials in favor of equity? That's the kind of thinking that makes people despise the beneficiaries of those quotas and the groups they represent. How about we legitimize ourselves in society by being so great at what we do and working so diligently that there will be no need to give us anything because it will have been EARNED.
