Had been listening to him for years before he arrived on local radio in Shreveport. I sent a letter of support to the station, and the local newspaper interviewed me for an article that they were doing about Rush's arrival in town.

I started listening to Rush back in 1991 and after initially tuning him in for Ross Perot talk he became a mainstay for many years. He was a giant in many ways but he was a tremendous entertainer and conservative communicator and I always enjoyed what he had to say and how he said it.
