Was that Singin in the Rain Oz and his mom watched as his brothers drowned in a rainstorm?
Max Power said:I also noticed that, and it's why details like that make this show so damn good. Os is a sociopath, he has been since he was a kid, hence what happened to his brothers. What he wants is the only thing that matters. He constructs narratives in his own head to justify what he does and who he wants to be. And since his mother has memory issues he's constantly shaping her reality as well, they only live partially in the real world, so much of what they both live in is a product of his imagination.Brian Earl Spilner said:
A small detail I liked was showing Rex Calabrese was just some random street-level thug that was having a dude beat up on the street. Nothing like the guy he's been talking up the entire show.
Kind of goes to show he built up this persona mostly in his head, the ideal of what he wanted for himself, and not based in reality.
A note of thanks before tonight's finale... š§š§š§ #ThePenguin ā¦@TheBatmanā© ā¦@HBOā© ā¦@StreamOnMaxā© pic.twitter.com/B2MPnnPLFR

Yellowstone can wait. And I'm sure you can avoid this thread until you've watched the finale, lol

Also, out of the two, why not save Yellowstone for tomorrow? One's a finale and one's a premiere, not to mention reactions/hints/spoilers/reactions for The Penguin are going to be all over social media here in a couple hours.

Can we request a 24 hour non spoiler discussion? With the big SNF game and the return of Yellowstone tonight, a lot of us will probably wait until tomorrow to see the season finale.

We don't know that Rex doesn't move up to be the Gotti like boss Penguin talked about.

Are we thinking Batman or no Batman tonight?
If you're watching #ThePenguin I *STRONGLY* suggest watching the finale tonight as soon as you can.

And once you do head over to @collider because I did an hour long spoiler interview with #ColinFarrell and it runs the second after the episode ends. It's loaded with answers... pic.twitter.com/NynKom9Hdc
Maybe he said no Bateman, and we just mis understood his desire to not include Justine in his cinematic universe.TCTTS said:
I suppose it's possible, but Reeves isn't the type to pull one over on fans and straight up lie like that. He's already said no Batman, so I'm guessing no Batman. Plus, enough people have already seen the finally that I feel like there'd be chatter by now. Unless Reeves & co left a final scene off the screener version and it's a big surprise tonight, but I doubt it. In terms of The Batman Part II, apparently the finale somehow hints at *a* villain for the next movie, and that's about it.
I feel the same! On the edge of my seat waiting for the finale.Brian Earl Spilner said:
As much as I want Sofia to live, I feel like logic dictates she has to die since the whole point of this show is to show us Oz's rise to power

...why would you go on the thread until you've seen the episode anyway? Just watch it tomorrow and then check the thread after that.
