There's nothing wrong with Henry Cavill being your favourite Superman, but saying "General audiences won't accept Gunn's new actor cos they're expecting Cavill" is so silly. The last time most casual viewers saw him was in Justice League (2017). They're not *that* attached to him pic.twitter.com/ThYczo2Z5Z

And I'm not even saying Superman: Legacy will be the biggest success ever. It could very well fail. People might not care about a new DC universe, superhero fatigue could get worse and worse.

But if it does fall short, it won't be cos Henry Cavill wasn't present.

If they are looking for a Margot kidder - Rashida Jones. Looks just like her.

Rashida looks a whole lot more like her than whoever the other girl is.
Bill also seems like more of a James Gunn casting choiceVince Blake said:
Give me Bill Skarsgard as Lex. Guy just oozes menacing. Nothing against Alexander, he's great, I just fear his Lex would be a little too derivative of his Succession character.
I understand the point of the 8 year comment, but to me, it was killed when they brought him back for the Black Adam cameo. I think my exact thought when he walked up was "Oh sh** - he's coming back!!"TCTTS said:
I posted those tweets because of the math; the eight years it will have been between theatrical appearances, which I thought it was an interesting point. That, and half the tweets I post are merely meant to be conversation starters. In no way am I painting this guy as some kind of authority.

I know who I want as Superman...
I like the idea that, unlike DCEU Superman, DCU Superman doesn’t kickstart the superhero era. Instead, he’ll come in to a world where superheroes are already the norm.

That’ll drastically change his dynamic with humanity and I’m really curious to see how it’s handled.
