I can assure you, all of these people are real. That said, maybe half are legit critics/professionals, while the rest are apparently "influencers" of some sort. To that end, this screening *was* held on the Paramount lot, with a number of the actors in attendance, followed by a Q&A. So there was also a "fanfare" element, which can of course influence opinions somewhat as well. Still, when reactions are this good across the board, there's almost always merit there, even if slightly exaggerated. We should know more Monday night, when traditional screenings start, for more traditional critics. Regardless, the fact that Paramount is showing this thing over a month in advance, without embargoed reactions, means they have all kinds of confidence in it, which is a great sign.

I for one love that you post twitter reactions from "critics" and "influencers", just for the laugh factor. I don't believe a single one of them but I love to see what an ass they make of themselves with their over the top adjectives and adverbs straight out a junior-high english class.

This aren't meant to be reviews, though. All of the critics who post initial reactions like these end up writing full-on reviews later. That's their job. It's just that the studio keeps those from releasing until closer to a film's release.

I understand that, but I think that doesn't necessarily disagree with what I wrote either. This isnt me telling you not to post the tweets on any of these threads, just something I thought of reading them.

Someone needs to train an AI to collate each Twitter sniffer's slurping tweets for every film and then see how much difference there is between the films that are actually good and the ones that blow.

Whenever I read some of them, I think of Lionel Hutz helping Homer sue Captain McAllister for the All you Can Eat restaurant.

Lionel Hutz : This is the most blatant case of false advertising since my suit against the movie The Neverending Story.

Yeah, the issue is that you can dig up these kind of hype tweets for every major studio release, so they're just noise. They all hyped up Napoleon, which normal people wasted their money on before realizing it was ass. Kinda wish TC would limit these to one or two, since most of put zero stock in them, but I can always just scroll.
