Yeah, I don't trust reddit at all. Too many clout chasers in the world who want to look smart by passing off insider info as hypothesis. That being said, Severance seems like a really well-protected outfit with regard to leaks. I also like being surprised by stuff and impressed on rewatches how those things are set up. The reddit hive mind, combined with the youtube channels dedicated to this kind of stuff, crowdsource solutions that ultimately take a lot of the mystery out of the equation for me even if it isn't a insider intel and just really good detective work. I much preferred the LOST days when it was really just us on this forum trying to figure it out and not tens of thousands doing it. But the world has moved on.

I don't think Outtie Burt knew about Irv before Irv was banging on his door. Outtie Irv would have been standing at Outtie Burt's door when Dylan gets tackled during the OTC switch. So presumably Outtie Irv and Outtie Burt talked and Outtie Burt would've said something about Irv banging on his door yelling his name. Maybe Outtie Irv then explains that he just woke up and they figure out that Innie Irv was the one banging on Burt's door. This then causes Outtie Burt to be suspicious/intrigued/confused of Irv and start following him.
It looked to me like Burt had tears in his eyes. I'm assuming some rando showing up yelling your name doesn't go over well with the spouse. So, my assumption was the he was following him out of anger.

Re-watched S2 Ep's 1 and 2 last night. I may have missed it on this thread but who do we think the guy is in Ep 1 (i think) standing in the hallway in the distance behind Mark S who then slowly walks out of camera shot. Mark S. starts to look over his shoulder like he knows he's being watched.

I thought that at first too but didn't seem big enough to be Frolic. This guys seemed taller and thinner.

My thought as well. If speculation is true that they somehow "cloned" Mark's wife or resurrected her...why wouldn't/couldn't they do it for the security guy?

It's crazy to me that that Christian Slater somehow still looks, like, ten years older than the character he played in True Romance, while Patricia Arquette in Severance basically feels like she's not even the same person - or - at best, could be her character's grandmother in True Romance. Not because Arquette has aged horribly or anything, it's just such a jarring difference between the two characters/performances.

I don't know if you watched Violent Night, but I watched that right after Christmas Vacation over the holidays and had the same reaction to Beverly D'Angelo. Not to say that she's aged badly or anything like that. Just doesn't even seem like the same person.

FTR, she's 38 in the top pic and 71 in the bottom pic. There should be some differences.

Thanks! Just watched this.

One thing that piqued my interest. The narrator of the video refers to a scene in the new opening credits where a car is partially submerged in some sort of icy body of water. He says this could be a reference to Gemma's car crash. The thing I found interesting is that the car in the water appears to be the same type of car that Sobel drives - a VW rabbit, I believe? Am I seeing that right?

Instead of it being Gemma's car crash is that a hint that Sobel will meet a similar fate?
