So, could Irv have been working with Petey as well, which is how he has that list?thepartygoat said:
I'm curious as to how Irvs outtie had Burts address....that was random. He was the least productive during this episode IMO.
Also can I get severed until season 2?

The #Severance finale was one of the tensest, most exciting hours of TV I've seen in years. So I spoke with @benstiller about how they made it that way, and about this whole great season: https://t.co/JLlMRziaaa pic.twitter.com/AMGfeIf9Hm

In last week's episode, she mentioned something about how she only goes down to work in 30 minute segments for wellness visits (aside from observing Helly for 8 straight hours). That made me think that maybe her Outie is in a coma or something, otherwise what kind of Outie life would you live if you had to randomly be called in to work for 30 minute segments here and there? That said, cloning also makes a lot of sense with that line.TCTTS said:
I was originally thinking that Lumen somehow faked Mark's wife's death and then severed her memories, but maybe she did really die and Ms. Casey is a clone?

I think she will understand the implicationsDesert Power said:
That finale was amazing. The scenes with Milchick trying to get into the security office instantly made me think of The Shining. Dylan was definitely the MVP in that episode for holding that delt stretch so long. Give Irv last place. When we eventually get back to Mark S. out in the real, world, everyone's first reaction to him is going to be, "of course Eleanor is alive, they found her." I wonder if his sister is going to understand what he means when he said, "she's alive". Was he holding the picture of his wife at the end?

Cloning…that would explain the sheep…

Been texting with a friend and she brought up something I totally forgot about...
The goats.
She's convinced there's some kind of cloning going on at Lumen, and that it's potentially extending to humans in some way. I was originally thinking that Lumen somehow faked Mark's wife's death and then severed her memories, but maybe she did really die and Ms. Casey is a clone? Either way, there's a weird focus on babies as well, with the pregnant wife of the Lumen exec who talked about being severed, and then of course Cobel's intimate knowledge of babies/breastfeeding. I don't know what it is, but there's *something* with the goats and babies and potential clones of some kind. There was even weird goat imagery in the waffle sex party thing too.
The other thing we're both convinced of is that "the board" either isn't human or isn't entirely human, hence their need for a surrogate. I was originally thinking aliens or A.I., but they also could be the consciousness/memories of dead Eagans or dead board members in need of bodies. Then that's of course where the cloning could come in as well. Something about the "Perpetuity Wing" and the use of word "perpetuity" there also that hints at eternity, potentially wanting to live forever/be cloned, etc, rather than simply being the name of a museum/tribute for a few employees to walk through every so often.

So this book seems to be causing some weird awakening in thought for some people but Mark's outie apparently thought it was stupid. I wonder what the brother in laws role will be in the season 2 plot line. What inspired him to write the book?
80% of the excerpts we heard from the book were either ridiculous, or incredibly trite.Quote:
I think his outie thought it was stupid because Ricken is absurd and his friends/followers are a collection of weirdos.
Yes, the innies though are living in a world where they are completely shut off from reality and this book is the only outside source of information they have....about anything.GreasenUSA said:80% of the excerpts we heard from the book were either ridiculous, or incredibly trite.Quote:
