Less than 24 hours.

I can't remember the last time I was this fired up for an episode of TV.

I'm so incredibly curious to see the how the new innie/outie Mark combo reacts, what he does, how he interacts with everyone in each world, etc.

This is going to be so fun and so interesting.

Incredible episode, but I'm so confused right now.

Why is (supposedly) *just* inne Mark back? Shouldn't it have been reintegrated Mark this episode?

Or did this episode somehow take place before the end of last week's episode?

Good lord. Great episode. The acting in this one was amazing. That scene with Irv and Hel… in the tent, so much said with just eyes and facial expressions. She made it all clear right there what was really going on.

Turturro is a badass, period.

He flashed to a memory of Gemma just briefly while he was enjoying a post-coital stare with Helena...perhaps reintegration isn't as instant as the last episode implied?

Or maybe it isn't as complete as implied? Maybe the outie gets full access to the innie, but when the brain is in "innie mode", the innie still doesn't get access to the outie?

I hope they're not dipping into a non-linear presentation. Show is enough of a mind**** as is.

The episode was kind of going through the motions (slightly boring) until Miss Huang started on the theremin, then it finally got into the groove

Good call. Either of these explanations could potentially make sense. I just wish they didn't leave us hanging for another week. I love weird, and I love disorienting, which is exactly what this episode was, in the best way. I just wish it didn't come immediately after last week's ending, considering my constant confusion for the lack of any explanation or hint whatsoever (for it not being reintegrated Mark) kept me from fully enjoying the episode.

I took it as that this might be a slow burn on him remerging. We saw the beginning of this with him seeing Helly as Gemma.

Lots of great moments. The Helly reveal in particular was great.

But I guess I'm a dissenter for the episode on the whole. The vibe just felt inconsistent with the overall show. The camera work, the location, etc. The weird clones of themselves directing the group along the path. And they didn't even investigate them. Maybe I missed a line somewhere that they're robots or something?

I think Severance has needed a pretty reasonable suspension of disbelief, but this episode required a higher level for me. Something about the logistics of the whole outdoor retreat for me.

I'd like to see how it fits with the whole narrative, but as of now, this was not my favorite episode.

My wife and I just got into this show on Monday and have binged it to catch up to today. Love it so far, but I'm not sure I'm going to enjoy having to wait a week for each episode.

I loved Lost and had a blast going through all of the theories here in TA, but man, it's a different world now and the constant cliffhangers might get annoying.

Tonight's ScreenCrush recap dives into this. Basically, the theory is that they're a form of conscious-less proto-clone developed by Lumon; like a precursor to whatever they're trying to achieve in terms of cloning/immortality/resurrecting Kier/etc...
