The Mrs. went from hitting eject on this show because it was moving too slow to yelling about the screen cutting to black before Dylan flipped the switch. I really enjoy the "Lost" vibe that this show is giving off, and am very excited about what this next episode will reveal when they "wake up" - especially with Mark in Cobel's arms.

This show has some of the most consistent cliffhanger endings I've ever seen. Every week we are yelling at the screen when it ends.

The cliffhanger endings are very similar to Lost and the wtf things they would find in the jungle.

I took a month off between episode 1 and episode 2 and didn't put things together that we were seeing the Innie and Outie view of Helly trying to leave. With it put together in order it makes so much more sense.

Milchick so perfectly combines that fake corporate cheeriness with occasionally revealed menace. It's really impressive.
Ricken is hilarious, but the most unbelievable thing about this show isn't its sci-fi-ness, it's that Mark's seemingly cool/fun/sane sister is *with* Ricken. I just do not get that relationship at all.

The montage of Rickey book quotes was sneaky funny as hell that and Dylan add a nice lighthearted and comedic touch to what is a high tension, who to trust, drama.
But really surprised I like this show so much. Not the biggest fan of all the main characters and household name actors, maybe except Walken, but he's low on my celebrity favorites.
I also love how there is high tech worked on low tech hardware. I don't know what you would call that, futuristic-analog? But l like that theme choice

Yes, I've been baffled by this as well but then I guess that's par for the course of this show. I still laugh about that dinner party they had.

Good work Helly and Mark but my god could Irving have possibly been more useless? He accomplished/learned nothing and had no sense of urgency whatsoever.

What a masterclass of tension and pacing. Just so good, so smart, and so damn clever. It was a great conceit from the jump, the moment that first trailer dropped, but maximized to its full potential tonight, something that rarely ever happens.
Where they go from here, I have no idea. I don't know how they do anything even resembling the basic premise of season one now, but whatever it is, I'm here for it.

Alright TexAgs....we can do better. I'm shocked that there aren't pages after pages for each of the episodes. Maybe it was because this was just the first season, but I do expect more going forward.
