I love this show (best in a long time), but I have many gripes for this year. The biggest one is what the heck did the three (Devon, Mark and Cobel) do all afternoon at that park. Are we to believe they didnt talk at all?

I am leaning to the belief that reintegration was not working/could not work effectively enough and therefore Mark is moving to plan B. That is why this is taking so painfully long. I think we are supposed to feel that excruciating feeling along with him.

I have lots of theories on what is really going on, but my current lean is that they are working on immortality, Mark/Gemma's relationship is the driver for finishing Cold Harbor which might lead us to that end. the immortality was intended for Jame, but Helly has jumped the line and 'tricked' him and is seeking that same immortality. I'm fully prepared to be 100% wrong.

I think you're close. At first I thought that all the Eagan fathers were continuations of the same being, but we learned that Harmony invented severance what 20-30 years ago? Or so we're led to believe…

Pretty confident that Jame is living off of TB12 or some weird thing. His behavior while Helly was eating was horrific. Like he doesn't eat but is living through someone else eating. Someone called him blood bag the other day in something i watched. Suggesting he is living off others blood at this point...

For someone who enjoys following social media during Aggie games, this is going to come down to the wire in terms of risking seeing potential Severance spoilers, considering I had planned on watching the finale live, but now won't be able to.

Either way, what a night for TV.
Add Aggie Baseball at 6pm Central to the list for me, as the series at Vandy starts on Thursday this week.

I agree; what a major disappointment so far. But as my favorite of all NCAA sports, bad Aggie Baseball is better than no Aggie Baseball. Baseball remains a cruel, cruel mistress.

Count me In the group that believes Cold Harbor is a permanent severed state following the death of the outie and, obviously, Gemma is the guinea pig. also, I agree that Milkshake is going to flip and eventually come to the aid of those against severance and Cold Harbor.

I haven't read the entire thread but WTF is up with the goat people?

I admit this show alternately fascinates me and confuses the hell out of me, but for this to be true Gemma would have to have been severed before he died (if she did) in the car accident? Or was she and this has totally escaped me?

Not necessarily, the car accident was likely/possibly fabricated and she could have been severed into her multiple innies after that time.

Another possibility is that we haven't seen "Gemma"'s true outie yet, and the Gemma we and Mark/Devon know is just another innie that Lumon was experimenting with in the outie world. They recaptured her with the staged car accident, and her looming death in Cold Harbor is just a death of that innie, the one that has lived the married life with Mark.

That would fit the references to the After Hours twilight episode where the mannequin was out in the real world and failed to return to the store when she was supposed to.

Might simply be a calculated shiny bauble just to distract us and/or it's an unrelated project there to flesh out Lumon's overall corporate entity to the viewer.

Maybe he means it'll be 4-5 years.

I hear they're bringing in George RR Martin to write for season 3 and he'll be getting right on it after he finishes that book he's been working on.

I'm sure there's lots of legislation in Kier, PE, that gets passed under guise of being for the public good while actually primarily benefitting corporations like Lumon who are funding the politicians enacting said legislation.
