Again, that's why I watch shows these guys put out religiously.
Even if a couple of episodes aren't great (which in itself is rare), they always are setting up for some amazing payoffs like this. And when they come, it's absolutely as good as TV can be.
And what a week we had - the last 10 minutes of Westworld last week and the last 10 minutes here. The two best scenes I can remember from the last year or more.

I would put the crack pipe down. Full Measures, Crawl Space, Face Off, Ozymandias, Felina, and a few others are better than any episode of BCS. And BCS is my favorite show currently on air.Harry Stone said:

I felt it was more that she sensed the interaction was heading to a point of no return and Jimmy was out of ideas. She has proven to be a good bs'er in the past in the show, and is presented as a great lawyer and quick on her feet to boot.

Looking back too, she busted the Mesa Verde guy's balls and then she squares up against Lalo telling him almost the same thing. Get YOUR **** together. Lalo might be thinking he made a mistake picking Saul.
Haven't read the thread, but just wanted to chime in that the past two episodes, taken as a movie, would win a damned academy award. I'm not going to sit here in the revel of it and claim it's the best two-episode set in the breaking bad/better call saul universe, but it has to be up there. That last scene had me ****ting bricks. Spent the scene expecting Lalo to shoot Kim and get dropped by Mike.
Someone has to die in the last episode. If not, someone will at least be in VERY BAD shape.
My guess is that Nacho and Lalo get into some sort of confrontation and somehow end up killing each other. Circumstances send both sides into a panic as each side thinks the other one did it.
Maybe Kim is a victim of some sort of random street crime and Jimmy assumes Lalo was behind it.

Makes me a little sad more people don't know how great this show is. It's just unbelievable, and sadly TexAgs is about the only place I can go to (besides reddit) to talk about it. Just criminally underrated.

Wife and I just finished binge watching BB and BCS up to season 4, so we are looking forward to this season. I'm laughing at the number of crossovers on other shows so far.
Also rewatching community, we recognized Gustavo Fring, Mike, and Badger are on the show. Also, Starburns is running a meth lab by stealing supplies from the school.

I'm with your earlier thought, though. I could have swore we had Gene scenes in both the premieres AND the finales of at least a couple of past seasons.

Even though I like Nacho a lot as a main character, for some strange reason I'm okay with seeing him die if it means his dad gets out of all this alive. Unfortunately this show (+BB) has done a great job of demonstrating how the consequences extend far beyond just the people "in the game," so I'm not optimistic that either one of them makes it.
And I'm guessing they save Kim for next season.
