So, my oldest son was on a class trip to NYC over the weekend so he couldn't go with us on opening night. He thought that he would be wiped out and behind on school work this week, so we got tickets for this Saturday night for the family to see it.

I finally managed to find two decent seats at Cinemark tomorrow at 4:15pm. That's the earliest he can see it after getting out of school and I'll have to take off work early. EVERYTHING beyond that time tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday are all gone (well, except for front row...which I refuse to ever do).
That is f-ing INSANE.

Whatever your preference. It looks fine in 3D. It's not needed though.
saw it thursday. was fairly dissapointed,felt dragging at some points. alot of cheesy moments. Liked caps and iron mans ending. thanos seemed dull compared to infinity war. solid 6.7/10
Drove to College Station to see it with an old friend and his two sons today. My first time at the CS Cinemark 24 since seeing Austin Powers there in 1997.
Loved it. One of my top 20 movies of all time. As a father of daughters, the scenes with Renner, Downey, and Rudd with their girls really hit home, especially Rudd reuniting with his girl after she thought him dead for 5 years, and him seeing her realizing he's missed the last 5 years of her life. Rudd's acting in that scene was heart-wrenching for me.
Wasn't a big fan of Professor Hulk, but I appreciate them giving Ruffalo more to do than growl and smash. Really liked the ending. Cap decides to be a little selfish after always putting everyone else first.
Loved the character montages in the end credits. That was a really nice way to thank the actors one more time.
GOTG 1 is still my favorite Marvel movie, but it's close.

Since it seems Thor and Quill are competing against each other, perhaps the hoped-for Asgardians of the Galaxy movie would open with both on an extreme Bowflex workout? Quill said he was going to commit, after all; and Thor ... well, he probably needs to lay off the beer.Quote:

there was that ice planet with the hoarhouse in GotG 2. So the snow is there.

Endgame's box office has fallen quite a bit since the first three weekends (which were astronomically amazing). I don't know if it can beat Avatar worldwide. Gonna be close. I'm gonna say it will, but it could take another three or four weeks.
The only way it catches TFA is if it rereleased in January/February during awards season. Has marvel ever done that?

It should get a bump in the week before and after Far From Home. I think it can overtake Avatar worldwide.

Good question! Endgame is amazing as a capstone for a generational series of movies, but on just a 1:1 comparison, I think I liked Spiderverse better.
