I just read that the ArcLight in Hollywood - between all the various screens - is showing it 201 TIMES this weekend. I've never heard of anything even remotely like that.
I think Star Wars has just become such a perennial leaky thing that it no longer has the urgency it did when a few us were glued to TheForce.net, waiting for the midnight showing of The Phantom Menace. Which, come to think of it, was probably the last time I went to an opening showing (at the old Bryan mall movie theater).Sex Panther said:
I've never seen a movie feel like such a mega event, the way this does. Not even The Force Awakens... I couldn't imagine not seeing it this weekend and feeling left out of the conversation. Honestly, I hate that I'm waiting until Saturday.
