i know it won't happen this way, but wouldn't it be great if when the snap is "undone", thanos finds himself surrounded by every single person on the good guys' side? Sort of the throw back to Loki defeated in the first Avengers magnified by 50?

Plenty of really good movies run that long. Lawrence of Arabia, Dances With Wolves come to mind.
Difference here, I think, is that EndGame will be so full of action, very few slow moments, that the audience will not even notice how long they've been sitting there.

I think the first hour will be a slow build without much action.
Maybe an action sequence with Antman being rescued/escaping or Hawkeye losing it?

When Return of the King came out, I decided to go ahead and have a drink during the movie. I wasn't into looking at movie run times around that time, so I figured it was going to be about 3 hours like the previous to movies had been. I paced myself with my drink for a 3 hour run time. After about the second of the 4 endings, I was feeling very uncomfortable to say the least.Hulla Baller said:

Learned my lesson that day - never drink anything going into a movie you know is 3 hours!

I'm trying to remember the last time I was so looking forward to a movie. It's strange... I didn't grow up a marvel or comic fan and only since they've been in the movies have I paid attention... but I'm so much more invested in these characters than I ever thought I'd be. I'm not normally motivated by opening night premieres... but in this case, I'll definitely be there opening night!
