The more I listen to the theme, the more it not only has a "Breaking of the Fellowship" vibe, as previously mentioned, but it also reminds me somewhat of the closing theme from Batman '89, in that there's almost a similarly "celebratory"/end-of-movie feel to parts of it, which I really love...
And a bit of Batman the Animated Series, which also pulls from Batman 89
Hell the beginning of it sounds like some of the Arkham game tracks.

There's a new clip running around of the funeral scene with the car that crashes into it. Just keep your eyes out if you don't want to see it. It is about two minutes long.

I was in the car for two hours today, and kept it on repeat.
Plot twist: The actual villain is Clock King and his dastardly plan is making us wait for this movie forever.

First truly good poster, IMO. While the trailers have been incredible, the print marketing has admittedly been a bit underwhelming until now.

Yeah, that one's cool. I guess it's all just been very… simple. Which is fine. I just wish it felt like a little more thought and creativity had gone into the posters so far, that's all.
Definitely agree. I like this, the red rain, and the Bat/Cat posters the most, but not a fan of the Riddler one, the up close on Pattinson's face, etc.

Wow, I do NOT like this poster. It feels like bad photoshop and not creative at all. Its basically like the Dune poster with the characters on it, but orange.
Agreed. Way too much orange.
It will be very difficult to top the brand design of The Dark Knight. The logos, the font, the colors…everything was perfect. Conveyed mystery, intensity, the cool factor. I think The Batman is going to be a great movie, but the brand design is actually pretty bad. But that's ok, the actual movie matters more.
Agreed. I'm trying to understand the red/fire design motif, as nothing in the trailer suggests that the movie itself has a red tint/tone or that fire plays a prominent role in the plot. If anything, it's the exact opposite, as part of the Riddler's plots seems to involve water and the flooding Gotham to a degree. It just feels inconsistent, that's all, and is especially frustrating when the trailers are all-timers and the movie itself looks absolutely stunning, like so much care went into it all. Yet all of the posters have felt like an afterthought, basically.
That said, Batman Begins went all-in on orange and read too...
Halloween theme. Fitting for a guy who wears a costume.
Poster feels generic to me.
