It's especially impressive considering we still have no idea what the movie is actually about. Two incredible trailers, each without giving away virtually any plot. I *think* the mayor of Gotham is murdered by the Riddler (opening scene of the first trailer), which pulls Batman into the fray, and then the Penguin is some kind of mob boss who's involved to some degree as well? All while Catwoman is seemingly playing both sides? That's literally all we know/can guess.

I've read that the DA is the guy who has his face taped up in the first trailer, and that Catwoman is a force of good rather than anti hero (latter via Zoe Kravitz).

We legit have no idea how this will go, other than the overarching idea of Batman beating Riddler.

Re, Catwoman, "playing both sides" was the wrong phrasing. Seems she potentially "dating" Carmine Falcone, but likely as a means to infiltrate the mob. Otherwise, yeah, she's a good guy/not playing Bruce Wayne.

I always kind of assumed this iteration of The Riddler would be like a street fighter II turbo version of the Zodiac Killer. The shot with "serial killer livestreams..." on the media kiosk/billboard makes me think we might be getting that.
