Not sure how they will resolve the Cavill situation but I think they'll resolve their shared universe incongruity with the Flash movie if the rumours are true and it's a Flashpoint adaptation
That will give them flexibility to recast if needed. I also think that's how they'll merge Battinson into the overall DCEU
I really like the multiverse approach they're taking. DCEU is Earth 0, Arrowverse is Earth 1, Stargirl is Earth 2, GL is Earth 12, Doom Patrol Earth 19, etc.

I think the eye pieces are likely driving goggles only. Pattinson didn't have them in the official reveal.

There was Affleck in '16 and '17, but yeah, no solo Batman movie in nine years.
That said, I don't think it's too early at all to go again. Batman is basically American Bond at this point.

Yeah I know, I just don't consider either of those Batman films, even though you could consider BvS as told through Batman's POV. I've chosen to ignore Man of Steel, BvS, and JL, which is a shame because, theoretically, all three should have been all time greats, but were ruined by Zack Snyder.

If I didn't know any better I'd think that was Affleck in the suit in these pics
Also the new Arkham game in development is pretty top secret right now, but there's been a lot of evidence that the Court of Owls is the primary story/antagonists, which could springboard them into being featured in a movie... I still think the studio would be hesitant unless they included one of the primary villains in it as well.
Not sure if it means anything but I'm guessing Birds of Prey's failure and featuring Black Mask didn't help

It really is crazy how much the stunt double looks like Affleck.
Now that I think about it, a Court of Owls and Scarecrow combo could be pretty badass and seemingly work together pretty well. We still haven't gotten a legit Scarecrow and I'd think he'd be prime for a headliner role in one of the sequels
