Nope, don't wanna see Dent/Two-face in these movies. Not after seeing him in TDK. They need to stay away from the villains in Nolan's Batman movies, IMO.

I'd be hesitant to believe a single word of this. If you asked me to name the two biggest false-scoop-peddling bullsh*t websites in the entertainment world, it'd literally be The Daily Mail and We Got This Covered. Notice how The Daily Mail simply says, "according to reports" and not even "sources." So I looked around and this seems to have been a combination of a report originating at We Got This Covered (where they simply say that only Harvey Dent, and not-yet-Two-Face, will appear in The Batman, and don't mention McConaughey) and then the fact that today is McConaughey's birthday. Seems to be utter nonsense and nothing more. Yes, it could end up being true, as any of this stuff can, but I highly doubt it.

Yeah, I know, and maybe I'm biased because I love The Dark Knight so much. But there so many good Batman villains you could choose from, why choose one that was one of the main forces in the best Batman movie to date?

This is my thought too, if only for the reason that Batman is commonly thought of as having the best rogues gallery (aka villains) in all of comics. It's Batman, Spider-Man, and a long drop to everyone else, for the most part.

So unless they totally botched it in a previous iteration (a la Poison Ivy or Mr. Freeze), I'd say move into new territory. I always hear things about Hush, Court of Owls, Zsasz, Red Hood, Deathstroke, etc. Villains from the Arkham games. Firefly. Stuff like that. We don't HAVE to rush back to all the old faves.

My favorite thing about the Tom Holland Spider-Man films have been that they're still showing new villains, rather than going back to Green Goblin, Doc Ock or Venom.

Either way, I just want a fresh take. But the easiest way to do that is to show us something we haven't seen at all before.

A great version of Deathstroke is in Titans right now. It's cool seeing him do actual Deathstroke things since the rating is more mature than Arrow.

I love the casting (especially one of my faves Wright, though Farrell is a surprising choice) but it feels like they're really loading this up villain-wise.

I trust Reeves, but I'm left wondering if spreading out the top of the rogues gallery would've been a better idea.

I doubt they're trying to introduce her as Batgirl, and will just have a background role and sort of on everyone's radar as who Batgirl will be later. If she is Barbara, I would imagine they'll make her Batgirl in a spin-off and not in the Batman movies, then bring her into the bat family later.
