I'd be very surprised if it happened for many reasons, but I'd be totally ok with it and he'd be the most insanely charming Bruce Wayne ever.

Jordan needs to be Stewart Green Lantern.

Idris should be Manhunter

For the record, most scripts come in at anywhere from 90 pages to 120 pages on the long end. The general rule of thumb is that one page equals one minute of screen time...

Lee Pace would make for an interesting choice. Charming, but menacing. Excited to see if Captain Marvel adds to Ronan's character more than Guardians did.

Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians, A Simple Favor) would make for a great, charming Bruce Wayne. Don't know if he could pull off the Batman part of the character though.

Love what Miles Morales represents, as well as the refreshed storylines. Hopefully The Batman will use this as an inspiration - I like Michael Pena or possibly Jaden Smith. Maybe get Franklin Leonard on board to help with casting.

Jaden Smith? Your trolling is getting weaker.

Here's one a bit out of left field:

Milo Ventimiglia from This Is Us.

He's probably too Bale-like, but I think he'd make a good Bruce Wayne.

I just saw a trailer for a movie called Donnybrook about street fighting (i think?). Anyway.... it stars Jamie Bell, who is 32 and I had forgotten about. He is my top choice when I look at all the options. A great actor who could easily do the charming Bruce Wayne thing, the brooding real Bruce Wayne thing and actually be a physical Batman.

FF wasn't that great, but he absolutely killed it in TURN. I wouldn't mind seeing more of him. He has loads of potential.

If you pick someone from that miserable FF movie to be Batman, it should be Toby Kebbell.

Also, I feel Anton Yelchin would have been a great candidate, RIP.

Yeah, I'd love to get one last solo Superman movie with Cavill in the role, directed by an exciting, competent filmmaker. It's kind of baffling why DC doesn't seem to be in the process of making this happen.

WB did allegedly offer Gunn a Superman movie, so maybe it's not totally on the back burner. I do think, however, that with Affleck gone they'll probably cut ties with Cavill as well. That's sad to me because the guy obviously loves Superman and has ideas for where he wants the character to go.

Yeah I read that Gunn news earlier, but it's hard to know if he was offered Superman before Cavill apparently broke up with WB or not. Because it sounds like the Suicide Squad stuff has been in development for a long while now. And yeah, on the one hand I could see them moving on, considering Affleck and everything that's gone on, but then again they're still making more Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Harley Quinn movies with those same actors, so who knows.

I mean there was an episode of the animated series where Superman filled in as Batman...maybe they could do something like that.

He is so good in Turn, and I expect a lot of those actors to start showing up in more things.

Came to make this suggestion.

He's a big name but wouldn't overshadow the movie. Creed & Creed II showed he can reboot/carry on a franchise and get plenty jacked.

Also MBJ being a big time talent deserving of such a chance who happens to be black could get WB/DC some bonus credit from the folks who care about promoting diversity, all without pissing off the politics board. Or at least come as close as possible.

Still seems unlikely, but I've liked and rooted for Jordan since The Wire & Friday Night Lights.

I've never really gotten a detective type vibe from Jordan in any movie he has done. Definitely not a "son of the upper crust elite" in his speech patterns either. Same reason why someone like McConaughney wouldn't make sense. If Elba was about 10ish years younger, I would buy him.
