And from that perspective, I think the 1:47 run time is going to be PLENTY. That is a long time to sustain that kind suspense and intensity

I just got prime seats at The Chinese IMAX - the third largest screen in North America - for Saturday the 22nd. Can't wait.

That sounds odd. But 70mm no doubt. See it the way Nolan intended it to be seen.

I won't be able to see it in 70mm on my first viewing but I plan to a few weeks down the road.

Already booked tix for next Thursday. So pumped

70mm for the reason that Bunk mentioned. If you're in Denver I had a good experience with The Hateful Eight in 70mm at the AMC Westminister. I'm seeing Dunkirk in 70mm at the Regal Continental Friday morning and will post how they did here afterwards (not a lot of experienced film projectionists left out there).

Let me know if you decide you have to see it in 70mm IMAX. The nearest theater showing it is at the Grand Canyon visitor center which is 650 miles/11.5 hours away.

Thanks for the help. Definitely interested in your take on the Continental versus the Westminster Promenade
