Who wouldn't trade lives with Kent today? He is Roy McAvoy.

What a retirement gig. He'll play golf from age 50-mid 60s and probably taper off to retirement. It may have been a grind from time to time but he gets to have the satisfaction of going his whole life swinging sticks instead of getting a real job. I'd trade for that in a second.

I mean, he's living the life (now) just about every "retiree" dreams of living. Even if it cost him $100k in travel expenses to travel the country seeing the highlights and playing the best courses in the world, he still pulled down a quarter million dollar income.

I have no doubt his life was a long, slow, miserable grind at times, but I bet he thinks it's worth it today.

Doesn't look like it was a top season for Kent, but in 2021 he still banked ~$230,000.

Because of Covid, they combined earnings from 2020 and 2021 seasons. That's also how they calculated the final Schwab Cup standings. Kent Jones easily retained his full privileges on Champions Tour.
