I mean, he's living the life (now) just about every "retiree" dreams of living. Even if it cost him $100k in travel expenses to travel the country seeing the highlights and playing the best courses in the world, he still pulled down a quarter million dollar income.
I have no doubt his life was a long, slow, miserable grind at times, but I bet he thinks it's worth it today.
