$340,000+ since we last checked on you Kent including another top ten last week. Wow! He's practically wrapped up his tour card with more than a month to go! Might be a first for Mr. Jones.

One more decent cash and he's in for sure.

9 out of 10 weeks he's cashed. That's a first for Mr. Jones. Another $65,000 last week. With $724k total the pressure is off for the first time EVER in his professional career. Wow. I guess he's turned a corner.

He's taking his 2nd straight week off. I believe that's a first for Kent.

i like golf, probably as much as anyone on this board (my only competition is probably Cru) but, WHO CARES? the guy's not hurting for money.

plus, he gets sponsorships. and free clubs. and free balls. and free shoes. and free clothes. and gives lessons. and plays golf for a living.

guit, you most likely like it more than I. I don't have the passion for it I once had.

guitman, I had a couple of fraternity brothers skimp it by on the old Nike Tour for a couple of years. Amazing golfers, and it was still very tough for them.

I love that this guy is out there fighting the cut every week to do what he loves. i am not jealous of the free golf balls. I respect that he turns down a regular job to take his chances, and maybe only now has the sort of cushion we would all think we want.

Came back after 2 weeks off (first 2 week layoff this late in the fall ever) and tied for 56th, good for $8,880 on 10/15/06 then missed the cut at the FUNAI Classic. On 10/29/06 he tied for 11th at the Chrysler Championship and cashed for $127,200! Dude is on fire!

$860,766 in 32 events puts him at 101st on the money board for his best finish ever. His card is safe for another year. Have a good offseason Kent! You deserve it.

Since he plays a ton it's a safe bet he'll be there.

Isn't the Colonial an invitational?

Will they invite the 180th player on the money list to a limited field event?
