Dating at/over 35 is no problem for a decently successful/attractive male. Just go 10+ years younger. For a 35+ female there's a much smaller pool to choose from/compete for.

If dating in my teens and early 20's had been as easy as it was in my 30s and 40s, I don't think I'd have made it to my 30s.

Not 35 yet but dating for me got way easier after 30. Probably because in my 20s I was going through a quarter life crisis and looked like I was 18. Now I look like a grown man and I (appear to) have my **** together.

Feel bad for people who got uglier/fatter after 30. It's ok, it's never too late to make a change.

I do. She's pretty great. But we both have baggage I think. That can make it pretty tough sometimes. That's what my OP was alluding to - I think dating when you're older means you've had life experience and some not-so-great experiences that are tough to avoid taking into a relationship.

My girlfriend aside, I don't remember women being as angry when I was younger either.
