What do we consider "cooking" these days? I bake frozen stuff a lot but dont do a lot of from scratch type meals. Does this still count?

No. It does not.

Well, poop

It's fine, especially if you're cooking just for yourself.

The problem is society tells women that men have it good/easy and to be more like them and demand what they have. That is how most women ended up in a corporate job. Now work is work and most men would rather be out doing stuff than "working" but stupid women thought men were having a lot of fun wearing suits, carrying briefcases and rushing off to work while they were "stuck" at home cooking, cleaning and taking care of little Jake. Then women realized that career was after all.... work. You were answerable to someone, had to deal with sheet. Earlier you could survive with 1 paycheck, but with all the women in the workforce, earning, inflation kicked in and caused prices to go up so you needed 2 paychecks to survive, not 1 anymore. So now women could not go back and stay at home without suffering a huge hit to their lifestyle.

When all this was happening, they lost their femininity. They started dressing like men and lost all the female skills they had over the millennia. Most of them cannot cook anymore, men cook better. These days young ladies actually pride themselves on their ineptitude in culinary skills. I have encountered some ladies who would boast that they were not very good with kids and wanted to hand them off to their husbands or someone else.

Women themselves are responsible for their situation. At least they have Onlyfans and AshleyMadison(is it around now?). But then, only the hot ones. The ugly ones are screwed.

"Things are different today, " I hear every mother say
Cooking fresh food for her husband's just a drag
So she buys an instant cake, and she burns a frozen steak
And goes running for the shelter of her mother's little helper
And two help her on her way, get her through her busy day

My girlfriend (44) cooks remarkably well.

That's a big reason we're still together.

I do the cooking and drinking while she works out in the garage most days. Both of which are good for us to individually wind down in our own way. She bakes really good cookies and cakes and stuff that I don't enjoy cooking. And when she does cook something for dinner it's generally good, as well, but it usually turns into an all the dishes experiment, and I get stuck with the wash.

Guys should never marry a woman who can't cook.

And ladies should never marry a man who cant cook.

They can be able to cook different things and have different strengths in the kitchen/grill….but for crying out loud we all have to eat so learn to cook for Pete's sake

And when kids come around it helps if both parents can share cooking responsibilities.
