Pretty sure this is the first race weekend I haven't watch since 2020. Not getting another subscription service (only pay for YTTV, just not a fan of the subscription model). Yes it's only $13/month, but it's more the principal

Same here. From what I've seen of the new regs though, it doesn't seem like we're missing too much.

The race was interesting. So many cars that weren't ready. Fascinating to see how the boost and overtake functions come into play. And then how tires wear and auto aero works.
Rough day for lots of teams. Big start for Merc.
I didn't want Apple tv. Got a trial to try it. I'll probably buy it. Hate to get another sub but I'll enjoy some of their shows I've never seen.

First off I'm glad to see there's an F1 thread, lots of activity too. Secondly, the complaining was much ado about nothing.
Was just able to watch the race and thought it was a blast. I think it's going to be a great season. Really hope things settle down and the Abu Dhabi GP isn't impacted.

If you haven't watched Ted Lasso and Silo, I'd highly recommend

Years ago when CART was still a thing they tried racing at TMS. They ended up having to cancel the race because drivers were pulling too much G-force in the corners and starting to black out.
I wonder how the F1 cars would handle it?
