Thanks for the tips . We did a track walk afterwards and by the time we got to the cars we only had to wait 30 minutes to leave. Our seats were in turn 4 and we had a great view. Kimi looked bored but ended up being a fun watch for 2nd-5th. Thought we'd get a late safety care for a fun last few laps. Weather was tremendous, all in all a great first F1 experience.

i thought USGP being a normal weekend now was going to meant rookie FP1...all we got was Colton Herta

Mexico has Freddie Slater (who is the one i wanted to see the most and a guaranteed future F1 star), Fred Vesti, Gabriele Mini, Luke Browning ...

Had an amazing first time experience with my FIL. I was able to easily leave COTA after walking to my car for around 40 minutes after seeing a useful tip on reddit. But the actual parking was free since it was just in some local neighborhood so well worth it. And this was after doing the fan track walk so we were deep within the flood of people initially walking towards the shuttle and rideshare lots. Also saw a bunch of the golden Tesla Cybercabs along the way.... pretty neat.

I was shocked when I saw the Cybercabs. They were dropping off and picking up at COTA. Pretty sure Waymo can't even get that far. Whoever decided to test out Cybercabs during USGP (a heavy attended event) is a genius. Most Europeans I talked to said they've used them in town and found them fascinating. Hopefully these Teslas get to the airport by next SXSW and game over for Uber starts
