The madring looks absolutely idiotic. I've raced it a few times on F126 and it's a combination of the hardest parts of several tracks, it's got the ridiculously narrow lanes of Zandvoort, the elevation change blind spots of Spa, and the ridiculous number of turns at the Hungaroring and Monaco.

I don't see why the need to constantly reinvent the wheel with track design. Put a couple of straight sways, a chicane or two, and some turns and call it a day.

Do they think the F1 drivers didn't see what happened to the F3 crews out there? It's going to be another Monaco parade with 120km average speeds.

The end of the 2010's saw some decent success for the Force India/Racing Point/Aston Martin lineage, which came under the control of Lawrence Stroll and gave a pretty hefty security blanket to Lance.

Lance and Checo both had good results early in that program, but the performance as a team seemed to go down once they switched to Aston Martin, minus a decent start a couple of seasons ago.

Just watched an awkward scene in FP3. Lewis locks up and drives straight into a barrier. Rather than exit the car, Lewis backs it out and tries to drive it all the way back to the pits with half the front wing hanging and a punctured right front tire. He was finally ordered to stop and exit but not before traveling half the lap trying to get back to the pits.

In a rare occurrence, FIA actually stopped a practice session under red flag and gifted some time back to the teams.

Very unlucky VSC for Lando. Race was more uneventful that anticipated. I think it's fair to agree with the drivers that this was a "faster Monaco".

The field seemed to hype it up to be more of a shunt fest after the red flag filled F3 testing. Max called it a "car killer". However it seemed like the cars only bumped each other and not the walls hardly at all.

For sure it was a drop in energy from Monza, and Kimi seemed more ambivalent about his victory. The Lando VSC disaster, the Lewis brake DNF, and the LeClerc strategy failure just seemed to be off-putting to a lot of folks.

Any new track has a chance to adapt and get better. Let's hope this one does.

Lando Norris was the fastest man at the Madring by 0.175s over Verstappen and 0.251s over Antonelli.

Rumor F2 is not running in Imola so it's Middle East or bust for them, which would make Baku their finale. If there is no F2 in Imola I'll stay home and skip the finale this year.

Nope. He is also still growing and there's rumors the height media has is inaccurate.

That's why I don't think we will ever see him in F1. He's just too tall. Prema had to get rid of the paint color of his livery last year and he ran with a blank helmet to save weight. He's already 5cm taller than the tallest F1 driver (Ollie).

it can make it real difficult to get signed, it really hinders his chances. Hulkenberg has spoken before about teams passing on him because of his overall weight and height https://www.crash.net/f1/news/1033434/1/hulkenberg-sure-his-height-cost-him-odd-opportunity-race-top-f1-team think the first time it was mentioned is when McLarne had interest around the time they were looking for a replacement for Lewis. Ugo is already taller than him, but that's if you believe his billed height, which a lot of people don't believe (a lot think he is taller)

Everyone is using the exact same kart, so there is no advantage, and the race is available on ESPN and Disney+.

I watched it. It was entertaining. Max could speak to other drivers. They weighted down the karst so everyone raced with the same weight. It will be replayed on ESPN2 at 6pm

You can now watch on-demand in the Disney+ app as well.

It was a lot of fun to watch. The other drivers were lucky they got the Chucky loop (or whatever they called it), otherwise it would have been over a lot sooner. Would have been more interesting if the field wouldn't have been made up of what seemed to be random social media persona, for the most part.
