Seems like RB finally has figured their car out. Probably too late for Max to make a run at the title but second looks like it could easily happen.

We will be in Turn 15 on Saturday. Taking my daughter to her first F1 experience there and she is stoked.

Went 2 or 3 years ago with my 8 year old son for my first time and got there early. Like 7 a.m. (I think the gates open at 8 a.m.).

They have stuff going on for most of the day and I think the COTA app will have a granular schedule of what will be happening when and where. If you are interested in the drivers, they will have driver interviews at different times during the day.

If you're driving, be prepared to wait a looooong time to get off the property. I think it took us about an hour and we left before the concert started (it was EMINEM the day I went).

Do you have reserved seats or general admission?

Also, it's not as loud as you would think it would be.

Man I'm jealous of those getting to go. Just checked weekend prices and they're over $600 each. That stings for a family of 4.

We'll be GA. The plan is to leave Houston area around 10 to catch Quali and see Posty. Then head back Sunday for Race. The plan now is to find a spot close to pay and park. Possibly one of the private lots.

This will be my second F1 race, I went to the Dutch GP in '25 but that was pretty easy with all the public transportation offered.

Rafa confirmed….at least one rookie on the grid next year.

Wonder where they used the thrusters for the simulated lap times, just between turn 11 and 12. 5 sec burst with 30 second refill, you have to be selective on the use just like F1 push to pass

My bad. I was skeptical, but should've been more.

I sort of believed it as well but I can't imagine it can corner at the same speeds as f1 cars.

I bet it would be fun drive it at COTA.

The thrusters and suction fans wouldn't meet the new 103 dB limit at COTA (which I think is just in the turn 19 and 20 area)

One guy did an optimistic simulation, I put my money on Max out braking the Tesla into turn one and building a bigger lead up to turn 11

• It's one-lap pace only: a single flying lap on a full tank of air
• It doesn't include tyre or brake temperatures

Race week! Kimi could win, but i feel like it could be going to Mexico or Brazil.

For the first time (*officially* the track is open on Thursday with F1 Academy having their practice and qualifying and then a race per day making it their first race weekend to be 4 days long.

Looks like the weather is going to treat you well if you stay late for the concerts. Low 80s during the day so much better than other years where going up to your seat felt like you could pass out any minute.

My daughter and I are ready for this weekend! We are planning on stopping by the Red Bull event at Reviere on Friday early afternoon as we are both huge Red Bull fans and then stopping by the Mercedes event after that (she's got a crush on Kimi).
Is anyone aware of other teams that may have some events popping up that would be appropriate for a high school freshman?

there's the usual Williams pop up on Congress that always tends to be a nice spot as well
