It's the travel costs. F3 was supposed to be here in 2021 but they canceled a month before because it became too costly. I was told directly from an F3 driver that it's too expensive to come and race in Austin. The one I've been curious about is F1 Academy because their calendar is very weird and only has 2 races in Europe, I am assuming they don't have to pay to be in the F1 bill but just wondering about their logistics.

I figured it was cost related but it can't be cheap to fly to Australia. I wonder if the Aussies subsidize to get f2/f3 there.

F2 quali right now had Miyata's engine die in the tunnel and Hadjar barely missed him. Once I find a clip ill post but that was scary

That had major incident written all over that. Hadjar's car would have been bouncing off of both walls after the collision.

In typical F2 fashion they just announced penalties (a good 5 hours later) and Ollie got hit with 3 place grid penalty. IMO his championship is fully over unless the second half of the season starting in Barcelona turns around big time. Such a strange year for F2 and the FIA being late with penalties does not help at all. It's a circus this time

Seems like Williams is ripe for a billionaire investor to come in and scoop a large stake. Would they be open to it? They need a massive transformation.
I would hope the venture capital firm that owns them has the money to properly invest now that Vowels is in charge and knows that is needed to be successful.

Another Williams era like when they had Massa in 2014-2016 when he scored podiums would be sweet. I'd rather see Williams do well over Alpine/Kick Sauber/Haas
