I heard that Lia Block was not good on her Williams testing back in December (putting wet times in dry), this week the closed doors F1 Academy shakedown took place and she was at the bottom on every session, and in here she is struggling a lot, just not good at all.

Fresh off his 13th birthday too, huh?

The F1 only fans were already tearing him down yesterday on X for not finishing P1 on the first day of pre-test.

Too many people will now be watching (or just reading results) F2. You can tell many haven't even seen him yet because while he was dominating in F4, he had a good rival all year long last year in FRECA (Stenshorne).

Last week some big Mercedes fan account tweeted an incredibly false statement about all drivers testing F3 cars and Kimi being seconds ahead of everyone else, then got retweeted by that Fast Pistsop account and then multiple accounts started sharing it until actual insiders put the rumor to bed. Just shows how mediocre the fan accounts on X can be, so no wonder none of them get press invites.

If Kimi dominates then that will be fantastic, but if he doesn't, and this is what most of us expect, a Top 5 will be good. The reality is the F2 grid has lots of strong candidates this year and Prema not only has Kimi but Ollie who's the best FDA driver they've had since Charles. Now add ART with Victor Martins who was faster than Theo most of last year. The casuals will see "oh Kimi didn't win the F2 title he is not the next big driver after all" when the guy is barely on his third year in single seaters.

This would be a first for Merc. I find it more believable that he would take Sargeant's seat and learn at Williams first. I think he's a Leclerc level talent and will show it, but I just think they would try to get Alonso or Sainz for two years while Antonelli learns at Williams.

Got to see Mika win in Montreal back in '99.

Got my tickets for the USGP today and prices went up as expected. Last year I think I paid $450 a ticket for turn 9 bleachers. The exact same ticket this year was $600.

Is that price for the whole weekend or just Sunday? I bought Turn 9 tickets for the race only for $189 on the secondary market last year. I may just do that again this year.

I kept hearing for the past 2 days that one of the F1 Academies liveries was horrendous, one F3 driver called it one of the worst he's ever seen.

The embargo went out today at 6:00 PM and finally found a photo of it, and well, it's something:



It's one of their partner liveries and is gonna get driven by Lola Lovinfosse, I suspect the formal announcement is tomorrow once the Europeans wake up.

That is really sharp looking. I'm looking forward to following F1 academy this year. Do you know of they ever reached a broadcast deal to show the races live?

Preseason testing starts tomorrow y'all! Can't wait to see the cars on the track and get a feel for who might be fast this season.
