The big question to me is, has Lewis not been paying attention to the Ferrari team lately? If it's not a reliability issue, it's a strategy problem. He's trading poor performance and strategy for good performance and poor strategy and poor reliability.
I think Ferrari has unquestionably been the 2nd best team in F1 these past two seasons. I mean, they have 5 race wins, a 2nd place in the constructor's, and a 3rd place(narrowly lost 2nd) in the constructors over the past two seasons. They're well behind Red Bull, yes, but I'd argue they're the best of the rest. And I think Vasseur is only going to improve Ferrari too.La Fours said:

They've made some big hirings in several departments, so maybe that's something that enticed Lewis to make the move.

Since it's still a bit "early" in CST and if you are up, the F4 UAE and FRMEC (Formula Regional) Race 3 of each are starting and should be done by 1:15 AM.
Middle East gets a lot of European drivers in the winter to get ready for the European series that start in March/April so it's competitive, got very popular in the last few years. Two US drivers part of F1 Academies are in there (Ugo Ugochukwu from McLaren races at Regional level this year and Alex Powell is moving up to F4).
Doriane Pin is another one I like. She races the first 2 rounds then flew to Florida for Daytona in the GTD class and flew on Sunday back to UAE for Round 3 of this championship. She is easily a Top 2 on the F1 Academy grid this year and got signed by Mercedes as well, imo the best female driver under 21.

I wish COTA didn't have a sprint race. I'd rather see a FP1 loaded of "rookies" like in 2022 when they had 5 running. Now they do Mexico City instead. With no feeder series on the bill this year's USGP is honestly looking to be the most boring one in a while unless there's a good fight in the standings.
