Heineken has paid a boatload of money to advertise their 0.0 beer at every F1 race. Has anyone ever tried it? I mean I personally can't think of a reason to drink regular Heineken let alone an alcohol free version of it.

The idea is that it will get Heineken drinkers or alcoholics to want a Heineken. It's not really to advertise their 0.0 product.

Philip Morris wasn't paying a bunch of money because he wanted Ferrari to 'Win Now'. Nor was BAT paying McLaren for people to think about 'A Better Tomorrow'.

I thought it also had something to do with being able to sponsor in places where alcohol advertising is banned? Similar to the shell companies Marlboro set up to advertise.

I always liked Suzuka as the the closer. Adelaide wasn't bad either.

China was a fun race, and Shanghai is a helluva good time. Great party city.

I will try and honor wishes of avoiding politics but it's probably obvious why I stated what I did. Not based on the quality of the race etc but it's a country that just shouldn't get anything anymore.

Im getting to attend the race in Austin this year, through a vendor. I had to choose between Saturday and Sunday, and ended up choosing Saturday.

Im pumped now. Get to be here for the Sprint race, but watch the Grand Prix on TV. Best of both worlds in my book.

Definitely helps Friday as that will have quali now, but even this year I felt like the Friday crowd was bigger than years before. Hoping for a good 2023
