Absolutely. I think he's done a great job stimulating interest in the sport and encouraging competition among the teams.

No one except Mercedes fans wants to see Hamilton win 28 races.

I am not sure if F1 would ever consider that broad of a change to quali, but I do like the idea of having a split Q1 session potentially with less cars on the track at the same time.

I feel like that idea would work until you had rain affect one of the sessions and one was before in the dry so had better times and qualifying by luck

Current quali is way better than the years of an hour or whatever to lay down a fast lap.

Much rather see lots of cars on the track together in a compressed time frame versus mostly empty track.

One of the girls in this week's W Series test in Arizona is from Texas, I believe Forth Worth area. Seems like she did some F4 tests last year but I couldn't find any other info.

Will make it more exciting in my opinion. Theoretically more similar cars and probably similar tire choices. Top teams will be upset but that's fine, let's see Bottas out there on softs with nothing to lose.

It didn't but with 15 cars on any tire they want it should be more fun. Look at last year when all 3 tyre types were running in some Q2's. Now it's a whole different strategy.

It'll be interesting to see if more cars start on the same tire through the whole 20 or if it's going to be more teams taking a risk with a different tire at the start to change up strategy.

I don't think it'll change that much.

Might actually decrease first lap passing, the 8-10 spots on the grid got screwed a lot when mediums were the preferred race time but spots 11-12 were free choice softs.
