Personally I never cared for Mick. It took him 2 seasons in F3 and 2 in F2 and he never scored a single pole in F2 (and he was in a Prema). If anything he won in a field full of rookies and a Callum Ilott that made too many mistakes. He was definitely nowhere as good as the likes of Leclerc, Norris, Russell, or Piastri.
Some cool stuff feederwise:
-Juan Manuel Correa is back in F2. He was the other driver involved in the fatal accident of Anthoine Hubert. He had several surgeries to avoid amputation of both of his legs, ran F3 in 2021 and this year, so it's so good to see him back in F2 next year.
-Eurocup 3 announced which would be a next step after regional F4. I guess it's a FRECA but spanish (4 rounds in spain and 4 in EU). No idea if it is FIA regulated like FRECA.
-They are announcing a new all-female series tomorrow in Abu Dhabi backed by F1. Should be the replacement of W Series. Goal is to make it an F4 and have drivers half fund their seat. I hope they share weekends with F1. Would be great to see the young W Series drivers in it as well as younger talent like Chloe Grant, Aurelia Nobels, Liona Theobald, Laura Camps Torres. Make it a true F3 feeder with young talent and solve the problem W Series had with many of their grid being too old for F3.

I feel like there was some of this the last few years between Bottas and Hamilton.
Maybe but you're comparing apples to oranges. Max not following team orders so he can get ???? (payback? I don't know) is way different than Leclerc asking to pass and not.htxag09 said:
Would still say leclerc pleading with his team to have sainz give up a podium and let him pass was worse. But nobody cares about that.
I dont know. If it's true, what he was mad at....that's pretty next level as well.Quote:
What Max did to Sergio was next level.
