The next thing that might happen in silly season is Latif losing his seat.
Otmar does bring some sponsorship money with him so that's an advantage he has that most others in his position don't have.

It sounds like he's not able to take the Alpine seat. I read somewhere that just before Alonso announced he was leaving Alpine, Oscar signed a contract with McLaren to be their reserve driver in 23 with a guaranteed seat in 24. Unless McLaren wanted to let him out of that deal he probably can't take the Alpine seat in 23.

All season there has been a lot of talk about him getting a seat for next year. If he really is going to be the McLaren reserve driver next year, IMO either Webber effed up or something else is going on. He was seemingly a lock to have a seat next year.

Does anybody have podcast recommendations?
If I buy tickets to the race at COTA and cannot use all of them, is it hard to unload them at the last minute?

I listen to F1 Nation with Tom Clarkson, Damon Hill and Natalie Pinkman. I listen to it on apple podcasts. its once a week during the season
Listen to WTF1 it's fantastic
I have tried out a bunch of podcasts within the last year based on recommendations on here.
My top 3 are
The Race F1 - very detailed oriented, good explanations on strategies, mistakes, etc
Missed Apex F1
WTF1 - good but light hearted
I still try to listen to Grid Talk and Shift-F1 (they are very lax and sometimes wrong on race details when they analyze) but starting to sour on them.
F1 Nation is good was well.
There is another one (don't remember name) that is primarily(maybe entirely) US based but they try to equate everything to the NFL and other US sports. I barely got through 2 episodes and dropped them.

No.

I've been looking in the secondary market. I'm thinking one of my kids may need to bug out due to stress about an impending midterm exam, for example.
