Saw it coming, not this year but next, but it hurts. Seb was and is my favorite driver ever since I started watching. Growing up with the 2000s generation, when Jenson retired in 2017 that was the first time a retirement hurt me lol. Now only Lewis and Fernando will be left.

I feel like the best option for Aston is Mick. Rumor says Piastri is more interested in the McLaren seat than Williams. Now add Felipe Drugovich (current F2 leader) in the mix, altho him having no ties to any team academy definitely hurts him in the driver market. Capito from Williams said recently that the team is focused on Logan Sargeant but he won't be in F1 in 2023 so i'd give him one more year (assuming he still performs the way he is right now).

Sargent seems like the choice for Williams. Haven't seen anything else about him for sure not being in F1 next year. But it's only his first year in F2.

The Race posted this video yesterday about the Williams seat, and they make a compelling argument for putting Logan in the seat next year.



If Piastri likes the McLaren seat better, then he's going to be sitting out another season unless something wild happens with Danny or Lando. I suspect Fernando is going to retire, and he gets that seat. Maybe he goes to Aston Martin.

How much of a problem will it be with Mick being a Ferrari academy guy, and AM running Merc engines? Would Ferrari release him? Red Bull had to release Albon before he could sign with Williams.

Drivers are required to let the 3rd driver sub for 1 session either once or twice per season now.

AM has a new rear wing this weekend, apparently fits into a loop hole in the regulations and is legal for now. Very clever way to create an end plate within the rules designed to remove them.

Never used it before recently, but I have now used it two weekends in a row. We have moved out of our house and across the country, so we currently have no provider to give us ESPN. I hoped for ESPN+ but they don't carry it necessarily.

I stream it on my phone and cast it to a TV to watch it. A little bit of buffering is annoying, but we have gotten used to it.
