Schumacher actually defending was fun to watch - unlike Norris who typically waves the white flag and lets him through. Too bad we won't get to see Hamilton try and pass both Alonso and Schumacher in the race tomorrow. I bet the Merc garage was an interesting spot to be - what do you mean we're having to go lap after lap after lap battling a Haas? I bet there's an email for that in Toto's draft folder.

Leclerc really earning this one.

Crazy he's on this pace still with the throttle not going to zero and then downshifts being rejected because the throttle isn't out.

Double points for Haas, who hasn't brought any updates so far. I hope that means they will have some serious improvements when they finally do bring some upgrades. But I wonder if they are up against the cost cap because of the power unit issues early on and a few races where one or both had contact damage.

The Carlos situation was a bit scary. The car was on fire and Carlos couldn't get it to stop. The fire appeared to be growing very quickly. Thankfully, he got it stopped and got out before anything worse happened.

The tire degradation issue for Max was interesting. Croft and Brundle seem to think the difference in track temps from yesterday to today made a big difference. Along with lighter fuel load for the sprint. Lucky break for Max that Carlos's engine exploded.

I will say as a casual watcher the track limit penalties and seemingly randomness and quantity of them is annoying. I would kind of just rather modify the track so it's not beneficial to test the limits. Curbs, gravel, etc.

Yeah, would be nice if ESPN would show more of the post race. ESPN does have the Sky F1 post race show on ESPN 3, it is called "Checkered Flag".

I assume they were talking about the crowd cheering for Hamilton's wreck in practice but I dunno.

I don't think them cheering was all that terrible. It wasn't some high speed dangerous crash.

What pissed me off just as much was television cutting away. Sainz was in no danger of dying. He was just trying to not let the car roll back onto the track.

What I read it was sexual harassment at the track, campsites and even the workers. Based on the wording some of the teams tweeted it was more than just fans cheering Hamilton crashing. They are blaming all the Dutch fans that showed up to support Max.....

Dutch fans harassing Merc fans, some sexually. A rival car going up in flames at the RB track with the staff very slow to respond. Wonder what the narrative would be if that happened at Silverstone.
