Absolutely insane day. Got to talk to a ton of F2 and nearly the entire W Series grid (even Caitlyn Jenner lol). Several F1 drivers and legends (i marked out when i ran into Damon Hill). A few misses (Vettel hurt the most lol) but overall great day.

I doubt they'd use it during a race or quali, but it was pretty cool to see during practice with a track overlay.

Later, they also showed it on the driver 'dashboard' (where they sometimes show speed, brake , throttle) when showing the driver view.

Again, not something I see them doing often but something cool to show during practice sessions for sure.

Is the feed for qualifying crappy for anyone else? I tried watching practice last night and it's like it's only 15 frames per second. It appears to be the same today for qualifying.

I'm watching on YouTube TV. All the other channels appear to be fine.

Mag's car was having some kind of over heating issue during practice 3. His car might not be in tip top shape.

kMAG is a solid driver, easily a top half of the grid guy. Their cars aren't performing and they're missing the setups I believe. A lot of teams struggling with set up in the rain.

Pretty wet day today. Saw Vettel but he rushed in so another fail of not getting his autograph. I did add George Russell to the mix in the morning, then went to the support paddock and got to see the F3 drivers I follow the most (Ollie Bearman and Juan Manuel Correa), then saw Theo Pourchaire.



Saw Juri Vips this morning as well. He seemed in good spirits and was friendly but his circle was definitely small and I didn't really see him hanging out with anyone.

Ended the day moving to the W Series paddock to get the 3 Spanish girls on my poster and added 5 others that. I missed out on. Met Jessica Edgar from GB4 and it seems that W Series were recruiting as I saw a lot of GB3/GB4/British Kart kids in the paddock over the last two days.

Realistically I just need Vettel's autograph since Max is awful at signing (he never does) and Checo is being rushed this weekend so I might just call it a day and just enjoy the 3 races tomorrow from my actual seat lol.

I did do the paddock club on Friday and let's just say it was a 5/10 for me. Sure has its highlights but I saw plenty of corporate people that you could tell weren't so much into the whole racing thing.
