Yep. And while the populairty is much higher now, I cant imagine the costs were justified for those broadcasts.

SkySports is a well oiled machine. They do a good job of keeping it fresh each race, even though it's the same 10 drivers they're focusing on, at the same locations as the previous season (for the most part).

You get two broadcast options now on F1TV - the F1TV team OR the SkySports. I've been 100% F1TV so far this year... even though I enjoy the Sky team as well.

Yep, I was paying for it for the last couple of years. I enjoyed the F1 broadcast this year during FP and Quali, but prefer Sky for the race itself. Trying to cut back on expenses so I'll just stick with ESPN and their Sky rebroadcast.

It's the "international" option.

Last year that was default and you had the 'pit lane' channel with the F1TV crew.

This year F1TV crew is default and there's a globe icon to toggle over to the sky crew.

Piquet responds and claims comment wasn't meant to be racist. Sounds like it could be similar to Howard Cosell's infamous remark. No racism intended, but used a phrase that came off the wrong way.

This is just me but it's insane how Vips got fired as if Max hasn't used derogatory words before and all he got was community service. Now Vips is being treated like if he was Ticktum 2.0

And McLaren is leaning heavily on the US market. Doubt he goes anywhere next year, but after the current contract I don't see McLaren holding on unless his results improve.

Not sure why Red Bull was so quick to the trigger, but you can't be making any remark that could be racist and expect to avoid punishment.

Yeah like I fully expected a punishment, but it seems like people want him completely gone, no second chances. Seem to forget that time Hamilton made fun of his nephew for wearing a dress.

Had a decent time yesterday. Not sightings of drivers and the garages weren't even open for our pit lane walk but got to meet Oscar Piastri, Martin Brundle, and Safety Car driver Bernd Maylander!

Hopping to the paddock club today and try get autographs from a few drivers. There's an inner track here at this track that I believe lets you see the exit of the paddocks and I think my ticket includes that area as well so I'll just go there at the end of the day to try get some Formula 2/3/W Series autographs from drivers I'm mostly interested on

My son has wandered into the COTA back paddocks area before and hung with the families of the F2 or F3 drivers. He still talks online with a couple of those drivers every now and then.

Good luck getting those autographs. Those series are a lot of fun to follow.
