If the weather holds true, tomorrow's sprint race and Sunday's race should be exciting. Some could opt to put a drier car setup in place to get maximum track position in the sprint race, and then try to maintain during Sunday's race. Should be a lot of variance either way which means good racing for us!

They have a clear advantage due to their lower drag car, but to be fair, there was a yellow with 5 min to go when everyone went out to set fast laps.

Thinking it will be more like 5 tenths advantage in qualifying.

Correct, everybody in the elimination zone knew they weren't setting a faster time on a now-wet track than was set on the dry track before the red flag, so they didn't even bother. The drivers that were safe to make it to Q3 got out and tested the track a little bit, but nothing remotely aggressive

Both quali for F1 and F3 ended terribly. F2 missed out on their practice, so they moved it down to when their quali was meant to happen, and now their quali is just starting. Hoping for at least one good quali session today.

Cars are in parc ferme condition, so the teams can't change much other than front wing angles and tire pressures. Merc probably has setup steered more towards dry weather. Just a guess.

The only caveat is that the pole winner from qualifying will still start first on Sunday regardless of the sprint results.

That doesn't sound right at all. Friday Quali winner gets awarded a statistical pole, but Sprint results determine full grid for Sunday

F3 race is on, track is still wet in some areas. Few drivers in wet tires. Gonna be interesting to see how these strategies play out.

EDIT: They all pit. Seems like the track is drying. All of them dropped down.
