Esteban Ocon loses a big chunk of sidepod 🤯

Someone smarter than me, how much of this is caused by the higher front wing? What can be changed in the set up to eliminate the bouncing?tailgatetimer10 said:
Merc and Alpine still bouncing.
This video explains it pretty well.Richard Zane said:Someone smarter than me, how much of this is caused by the higher front wing? What can be changed in the set up to eliminate the bouncing?tailgatetimer10 said:

Haas has a lot going for it this year. Mick is no longer a rookie. Mazespin is gone. Magnussen will be a solid performer for them as well as a role model for Mick. Haas is also now in a season that won't be a "throwaway" like last year. They have targeted 2022 as a year to make a step up, and through two practices, they seem to be doing so.PWestAg18 said:
Would love to see Mick score some points for Haas this year.

I didn't know about that podcast until your post. I'll be sure to check it out.
Raising the ride height will definitely help, but it will have impacts on cornering speeds and lap time due to loss of downforce.Richard Zane said:Someone smarter than me, how much of this is caused by the higher front wing? I was worried they were going to "focus on 2022" and then have it blow up in their face and the team collapse. Hopefully the good results in FP2 aren't a fluke.Gladiator 96 said:Haas has a lot going for it this year. Mick is no longer a rookie. Mazespin is gone. I just dont see him in a Red Bull, think he replaces Vettel or Riccardo at the end of the season. He's too good for Alfa Romeo and those two teams have Mercedes engines so I think Toto puts in a good word for him.Brad 98 said:
Poor Valteri,as he only gets two out laps. I think he is going to struggle this year with Alfa Romeo. I could see him trying to get out of his contract and try to get back with a Red Bull or Alpha Tauri in 2023
Thanks for the notes... Gasly is such a stud, I selfishly hope he gets paired with LeClerc at Ferrari. He shouldn't consider driving under Horner again. That dude wrecked his confidence.Gladiator 96 said:
FP1 observations.
- Ferrari looking very strong. P2 and P3 for LEC and SAI
- Russell P4 for Merc with a strong lap on softs
- McLaren P16, P17
- Bottas gets awful start to AR era with no recorded hot laps due to engine misfire problems
- AT looks good in first session with P1, P9 for GAS, TSU
Don't expect drive to survive to accurately portray driver relationships. Daniel and Lando get a long pretty well, just like Lando and Carlos, and Daniel and Max unlike was implied in season 1.Spaceball 1 said:I just dont see him in a Red Bull, think he replaces Vettel or Riccardo at the end of the season. He'd be especially good as a number two again for Norris. Watching Drive to Survive seems like Lando and Riccardo arent hitting it off and Norris is the future for McLaren
F1 has its own complete production crew. They put out a single pool feed that all broadcasters carry and lay their commentary on top of.Gladiator 96 said:
