So......military aircraft that have to make the flights anyway for training hours are a no go, but a private airplane that doesn't need to make that flight but will, albeit with sustainable fuels, is ok??

W Series is running a test in Arizona soon, I have a feeling they will get Lindsay.


Age shouldn't be an issue considering Abbie Eaton is 30 and Alice Powell (who finished 2nd behind Jamie) is 28. Assuming Sabre doesn't get a seat, W Series would benefit from having another American in the grid, and I just looked and Lindsay has 1.6m followers on IG.

Just hope W Series can do a good job with their mission. I do love that they are giving their drivers a lot of opportunities (such as their Academy drivers Irina and Nerea getting that private F3 test in november) but they really need to step up and have some of their most talented ones go to FRECA or to F3 if they place in lets say the Top 5.

Yeah that's the pain of living in this continent, don't see it changing as Feeder Series are not really a priority for the US market, they don't even race here (due to costs of travel I bet lol). The crowd that stayed to see W Series Race 1 at COTA was pretty dismal.

F4 UAE race was at around 7:50 am today so that was doable. I believe Race 2 is at a little after 11 pm tonight, probably will miss race 3 though since that one will be too late.

If anyone wants to see F4 UAE in a time that's friendly for us, race 2 is on at around 11 pm

Some names to look out for as Andrea Kimi Antonelli (my personal favorite on Italian F4 this year), James Wharton, Charlie Wurz, and Aiden Neate. All names we will see in F2 in 3 or 4 years

I am heading to Qatar for World Cup in November and Abu Dhabi is the weekend before WC starts.

Anybody have any suggestions, feedback, tricks, etc for attending this race or any race? Looks likes tickets are available on the formula1 site. Is secondary better, hospitality packages, etc.

I'd recommend F1 Experiences if you want an hospitality that won't break the bank like a team one. I booked with them for Silverstone.

If you want paddock, Friday 1-day access tends to be cheaper than buying Sat-Sun or a 3 day access.

For regular tickets, the F1 site does charge more. Directly from the promoter tends be cheaper. F1 Tickets was like $100 more for Canada vs the promoter sale

I am worried because of COTA not having a deal yet but W Series just announced their 8 track schedule and COTA is one of the tracks they are going back to (they added like 3 new ones including Miami and Mexico).

COTA just needs to push for a long-term schedule. Really hope that happens. Otherwise COTA won't be enticing anymore... I don't go to the other races like Nascar or MotoGP(I missed out on seeing my favorite drivers here, like Pedrosa, Lorenzo, and Stoner who retired before this race happened). Concert wise, they are losing business to the new arena and the new amphiteater downtown as well.

You would think that but from what I've heard from "insiders" is that Bobby is hard to deal with. It's still funny to me how they were taking info from people if they were interested for a "2nd USGP in 2021" back when the calendar needed to fill a gap yet Liberty Media told COTA that a 2nd race was not going to happen since the beginning.

Yeah a 2nd COTA race back to back. They canceled a race that was meant for October (I think it was Suzuka?) and for like 3 months people were guessing if there was going to be a gap or a replacement. COTA decided to rally for a second race there, but were told by Liberty that it was not possible, but they kept arguing about it and sent an email to everyone to join a mailing list for a possible 2nd race after the first weekend of the USGP
