...yeah but he will ALWAYS be Russ Hanneman to me from now on.
those others were not as memorable.

quote:There were so many funny lines in it. The demonization of smoking - "second hand heroin never killed anyone", Russ' response to Richard's rant is "First off, the is not ****ty tequila!", actually pretty much everything Russ did, Gilfoyle and Dinesh's response to the threat was we're all programmers, which basically makes us all *******. I thought it was all hilarious.
That was the first episode in two seasons that wasn't any good.
quote:I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread, but the episode of the Nerdist podcast with him is worth listening to just because of how different he is than his character. It was like a toned down version of one of those coked out Robin Williams interviews. He's definitely an improv comic.
I'm blow away by the acting ability of Richard. His facial expressions, mannerisms, lack of eye contact, etc. are exceptional. I'm sure this guy isn't like this in real life, but we would never know. The tequila shot scene plus when he was meeting with the porn executive, those were classic scenes.

To each their own I suppose, but I thought tons of the jokes were great.

"You've basically made a perfect app for pedophiles"
"Yes... and they aren't typically early adapters, so unfortunately we'll miss out on that market..."

That episode needed an infusion of Jared.

Especially just by hitting a delete key. And why did the delete key lock everyone out of their stations?
Not a complaint. Love the show, but that seemed REALLLY unrealistic.

Well I didn't think texags could be taken down by a book on a keyboard but mkf proved me wrong.

A few years ago, a poster was able to shut down texags with a dos attack. I don't think it was his intention, but more of a proof of concept experiment. Anyways, all he did was take a book, balance it on the keyboard, and go to lunch. the book caused a continuous refresh and it overwhelmed the site

Richard is played by Thomas Middleditch. He is a hilarious, nerdy, talented improv comic and I have been a big fan for a while. He usually pretty different than his SV character in most performances.
Here are some clips that he did with College Humor's Jake and Amir over the years:

I never bought that story. The keyboard buffer would have filled long before any thing fell down.
He wrote or used a scripted that made http:// get requests in spawned threads and had buyers remorse after he got banned.

Did redstone get a new sock?

The only part I didn't buy was that they would have lost the contract over deleting "hundreds" of hours of premium content. I mean we are talking about porn here. There's like 57 of them shooting RIGHT NOW. Lack of content isn't a big hit to porn. If their algorithm did what they promised they would still be the better choice and the company couple regenerate that content over one long weekend in Mexico.

Why would their not be backups?
