i honestly had no idea it was the same guy until rcently - and i just binge watched freaks and geeks late last year after I had seen SV season 1.

i can see it now, but totally unrecognizable as the same person without someone telling me it was.

in fact, just a few weeks ago i heard he had been in freaks and geeks and i could not figure out which character he was.....yes both are/were super nerdy but otherwise totally different. of course the early 80's clothes and period piece and his short hair and age difference all contribute to that.

The smug look of approval on Erlich's face when the receptionist assumed he was CEO was superb.

It was brilliant writing. Big Head gives this fantastic presentation, Gavin is super excited about it, and you're thinking "whoa, did Big Head really just rise to the challenge and is he about to save Nucleus?" and then NOPE. He's just as incompetent as we thought.

Big Head is so great. He's my idol.

This last episode was all about the one liners. Loved it.

That being said, the Jin-Yang bits are gold. I hope they don't go to that well too often though.

Jin Yang was awesome....first the premature-pitches....then the smoking thing.

Glad only two more episodes left. Quickly starting to suck.

First episode that fell flat for me. It had a couple of decent moments, but count me as the lone member of the team that doesn't care for Jin Yang.

Yeah, there's only so much Lucy ripping the football out of Charlie Brown's path before he kicks it that I can take...

That was the first episode in two seasons that wasn't any good.

I'm blow away by the acting ability of Richard. His facial expressions, mannerisms, lack of eye contact, etc. are exceptional. I'm sure this guy isn't like this in real life, but we would never know. The tequila shot scene plus when he was meeting with the porn executive, those were classic scenes.

I just looked up the actor who plays Russ Hanneman. Among other things, two roles stuck out to me:

The Office: He played the cameraman who liked Pam.



Sopranos: He played Jason Barone, the son of the Barone Sanitation owner who died. Paulie beat him up pretty good.

I know him from Episodes.
