Yep. Strange though. A&M seems to be held to a higher standard. That said, I actually like our seeding. The committee did us a favor dropping us to 12 paired with UNC, imo. Better than a SEC super at tu or bama.

I am going to have to disagree with you there. UNC has lost a single series all year long, and it was back in early March. They're the only team to have a series win over GT. They pitch well (10th in ERA), field well (9th in FLD%), get on base (20th in OBP), and score well (12th in Runs). I prefer both tu or Bama over them.

UNC is far from a soft touch. However, they do have a competitive regional, so there's always the chance we could get lucky and end up facing a lower seeded team, as happened the last time our road to Omaha was designed to run through Chapel Hill.

Before the Davidson upset, I don't think we ever caught a break in postseason play when it came to matchups.

Not only should UNC be upset they got matched up with us as the 12, but you're right, they got a damn good regional.
