Great win! I'm definitely not watching the game in the future. I checked in earlier just to see the Grand Slam - didn't turn it on once after until got the winning email.

Did the walk come after an initial 0-1 count? I think if such a walk occurs the Raggies should start the chant. I also think if the batter before a four pitch walk was hit by a pitch or walked, those balls should be figured in also. For example, if an Aggie is hit by a pitch on an 0-2 count then the next AB is a four pitch walk, the chant should start Ball Six not Five. If we could pull that off, it would show real baseball savvy on the Raggies part.ProudAg16 said:

I would say we won with the help of Baylor's walks and throwing errors. Although we did apply the pressure. The Ags were barreling up balls today. We got into the pitcher's heads. If Choruby (who had a great game) doesn't have his base running errors, it would have been much worse for the Bears.
Now if we can only carry that type of momentum through the regional. That's been the issue lately. Up and down.

the primary reason why I thought the Ags had a good chance to win this regional...Houston and Baylor are both very good solid clubs, but neither has an elite / 1st round / superstar-type player or players a la Rooker, Spanberger, Kendall, Alex Lange, Kyle Wright, et al

Best way to win a regional is to go 3-0. Can't do that if you lose game 1. No sense saving a pitcher for game 3 that is not guaranteed.Sean98 said:
