As I said in another thread today before this news- he is a role player. You need role players so that's not a knock. Does a lot of things ok, nothing great, but not bad at anything either. I'm not going to lose any sleep over this.

Maybe. Scott is more of a SF type though and not a big post up guy. But I'd definitely cut Smith lose for Felder. That's a no brainer.

And presumably it would mean at least one younger guy that counts against the scholarship limit, and not
all seniors/grad transfers, meaning the possibility of multiple years of contributions.

Potential good news because I never hit the sense that A&M thought they were serious players here...and Arkansas and A&M have joint interest in quite a few transfers. One less spot for Little Eric to fill.

Toney was my top guy (followed by Nutall). But like Hop said, I never got the sense we were really in the running. Big pickup for Arkansas as he is really good on both ends of the court.

I don't think any of us had a thought of how much, but maybe I shouldn't speak for everyone. And I don't think any of us would honestly be shocked if anyone not named Miller left. Everybody else you can make a case as to reason they might. Fingers crossed my guy McNeilly isn't one, but seems fitting I hype him up for two years for him to leave

Yeah this isn't making me feel good. Coach McNeilly leaving would add up with Hop's comment about more people leaving than expected. I'll have to burn all my Cashius Aggie jerseys.

McNeilly has an Associate Head Coach position at A&M, not Assistant Coach. And while it does look like Shaka Smart is still trying to fill an Assistant Coach position on his staff, Shaka has already hired an Associate Head Coach position (Justin Gainey).

I'm not sure that is accurate. BD wasn't one of the 3 assistants. Now, this posting may not be for one of the three assistants, but it sure seems like it is.
