True, but i think it has evolved from that as well. If it were just about finding the best tacos i have 5 or 6 options within a mile of the house i could hit instead. time and geography limit the choices and a central location like AC can make it easy from time to time. I agree that we need to keep finding new places but some weeks it good to have a standby.

before someone gets pissed, let me just say, i like the tacos at AC. i was just under the wrong impression of purpose of the meetings. when i first started attending, it was a new place every week. maybe i was just spoiled into thinking that's how it always was.

again, there is nothing wrong with AC. i just feel bad for all the run down little taco joints that desperately need us to keep them in business.

and yes, tacos are very serious business.

The purpose of the meetings are to find new places to eat tacos. AC is just convienent for most people since we either work or live in that area of town.

I am sure there are some options up and down Bandera Rd or in the same general area.

I am sure there are awesome tacos inside 410, but we won't get a big turnout at those places just out of pure inconvenience.

Yeah, Perico's is a no-go. I just checked the website and they only have breakfast on Saturdays & Sundays ... opens at 9am on weekends.
