He's nearly 50. I doubt we are seeing his last rounds but even without the injuries he's well on the way to a more limited schedule for someone his age. He made the cut at The Masters a month ago, he still has game. ESPN is addicted to Tiger and so are the majority of golfers on the planet, so they are going to show him a lot. Better watching him than the endless crap the other network shows. But I didn't get to watch much today due to the Houston disaster.

We go through this every time Tiger plays in a Major. He is in his twilight years. Enjoy it while you have it.
He literally won the Master's in 2019. It's not like he is John Daly who won his last Major in 1995 and trying to remain relevant in the golf world

Exactly. Gary Woodland and Shane Lowry also won majors in 2019 and we aren't watching every shot they hit because they aren't in top form.

And I actually think id enjoy watching Big John's fat ass go +20 while sucking down darts and WD'ing than tiger wincing after every shot and people like Andy north telling me how valiant an effort it was for tiger to get a shot within 20 feet of the hole.

Safe to say a major tournament won't be returning to Kentucky for a long time. Between the arrest, the weather, and the traffic situation a site like PGA Frisco makes a lot more sense for a large event like this.

The major event schedule (including two PGA Championships) is already set at PGA Frisco for years to come. The one that is still up in the air there is a possible Ryder Cup - but would be many years away (if at all)

I've never in my life been annoyed when they show Woods playing golf. Yesterday I was just a little bit annoyed and it made me sad.

I chuckle when I read comments like this. The reason that a major tournament won't be returning to Valhalla is because the PGA of America no longer owns Valhalla, which was the ONLY reason that Valhalla held multiple PGA Championships and a Ryder Cup. Plenty of better, more demanding, more deserving clubs out there, but those clubs weren't owned by the PGA of America.jckrjr7 said:

Which leads right into PGA Frisco, which is already slated to host a PGA Championship and rumored to host a Ryder Cup, SOLELY because it is owned by the PGA of America which runs both events. Obviously being sarcastic, but yes, this was the plan all along with his caddy going to the graduation and the chaplain being a long time friend. Will be back tomorrow if Scottie can stay out of jail.
Sidenote though is that he never won on tour before switching to his current caddy, although he was still a young player (25) so it's not that crazy of a note
